Environmental Policy
Mirfa 2 RO Water Desalination Company L.L.C. - a leading player in the U.A.E. energy, water and infrastructure engineering - aims to promote environmentally and culturally friendly sustainable goals & development and seeks to continually improve our performance in this specific area of expertise.
In putting our goals into practice, M2RO management has focused our environmental policy on four key fundamental commitments:

Anticipate, in order to eliminate; as low as reasonably practicable whilst considering at the very least, to vastly reduce, any harmful negative impact on the natural environment and people resulting from any of M2RO activities inclusive of the civil communities within the geographical area surrounding the project.

Factor the environment into project lifecycles, so that our customers benefit from environmentally friendly, innovative solutions geared to their needs.

Ensure our employees, shareholders in addition to EPC and their respective Sub & Lower tier subcontractors and vendors are well aware of the environmental challenges and the commitments involved in our policy.

Comply with The UAE governments’ legislative & legal environment requirements as well as all contractual mandatory requirements pertaining to EPCs (CESMP) “Construction Environmental and Social management Plan”.
M2RO PROJECT MANAGEMENT communicates these commitments to all of its employees and encourages each one of them to act on these undertakings. Management supports the current environmental policy by ensuring that the resources needed for its correct implementation are in place
To realise our policy and continually improve our environmental performance, we are deploying a quality management system that incorporates environmental management in accordance with ISO 14001 and other local certifications.
This Environmental Policy applies to all M2RO subsidiaries and entities with a view to complying with our objective of:
“Achieving excellence in all our activities by continuously measuring and improving our performance”.
